Summer Groups 2023

Group: Kick Off to Kindergarten Motor Group
Age: Pre-K to Kindergarten
When: Thursdays 11:00-11:45am Time: 6 weeks; 1 session per week
Cost: $45 per session
Description: Lead by an Occupational Therapist, this group will target motor coordination and integration, multi-step directions and writing skills. This group is a great pre-requisite for Kindergarten!

Group: Handwriting Helpers
Age: 6-9
When: Fridays 10-11am
Time: 6 weeks; 1 session per week
Cost: $45 per session
Description: Does your child need extra practice with fine motor and visual motor skills? Lead by an Occupational Therapist, this group will target writing skills and coordination skills for using line placement, sizing, and correct formation for perfecting writing. Each week will have a theme that will increase interest and promote positive writing skills!

Group: Movement and Motion
Age: 6-10
When: Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm
Time: 6 weeks; 1 session per week
Cost: $45 per session
Description: Lead by a Physical Therapist, this group will promote physical fitness, motor coordination, strength and endurance. This group will be both indoor and outdoor to engage participants in fun and exciting movement activities.

Group: Physical Fitness Interval Training
Age: 8+
When: Mondays 4:00-4:45pm
Time: 6 weeks; 1 session per week
Cost: $45 per session
Description: Lead by a Physical Therapist, this group will promote physical fitness using different stations to target strength and endurance.

Group: Sensory and Emotional Regulation
Age: 6-10
When: Thursdays 4:30-5:15pm
Time: 6 weeks; 1 session per week
Cost: $45 per session
Description: Lead by an Occupational Therapist, this group will target self-regulation skills for primary learners through movement and use of a curriculum to promote tool development necessary for calming and alerting throughout the day.

Group: Social Cooking with Kids
Age: 6-12
When: Tuesdays 5:15-6:00pm
Time: 6 weeks; 1 session per week
Cost: $45 per session
Description: Lead by an Occupational Therapist, this group will target social interaction and food exploration for sensory avoiders in a fun and exciting way. Each week will have a theme, requiring group participation, problem solving and interaction with food. Everyone gets to eat too!

Group: LIFE Skills Group
Age: 8+
When: Mondays 11-11:45am
Time: 6 weeks; 1 session per week
Cost: $45 per session
Description: Lead by an Occupational Therapist, this group will target basic life skills and etiquette that will be beneficial at home and in the community. Want your child to be more independent? This is a great group to build those foundational skills!

Insurance billing is available for these groups. 

To participate in these groups, an assessment by one of our Clinical Therapists is required.  Further participation  will be determined at that time to best suit child’s needs.
